What does this apparel represent ?

While the Vikings believed in many different afterlives, the most coveted was Valhalla, Odin’s hall in Asgard.

The god of war, with the help of the Valkyries, chose only the bravest fallen warriors to join him in his hall. There they will feast until Ragnarok when they are called upon to fight alongside the gods in the final battle.

The Valknut represents Valhalla and is often inscribed on tributes to dead warriors to indicate the belief that they are in Valhalla. It also represents the kind of strength and courage required to earn a place there.
